Wendy Hu-Au has been on staff with InterVarsity since 2004. She currently is doing campus ministry at UC Berkeley (Cal). She is the Team Leader with Black Campus Ministries and also directs Covenant Team, a collaborative effort between the various fellowships at Cal.
About the Ministry
The InterVarsity fellowships at UC Berkeley are Black Campus Ministries (designed to reach out to black students), Cal Christian Fellowship (multi-ethnic), Kapwa (Pilipino/Pil-Am), and La Fe (Chicano/Latino). We gather together for conferences, joint worship meetings, leader trainings, leader celebrations, community service activities, prayer, manuscript studies, and mission trips. Through the Covenant Team, a network of leaders from each of the fellowships, we hope to (a) help our fellowships to both embrace their own ethnicity and to cross-culturally love other ethnicities and (b) create access for unreached ethnic groups on campus.
